Directions to get to the Esplanade Hotel: By car Travelling north on the motorway (State Highway 1) from Auckland City centre, cross the Harbour Bridge and take the Esmonde Rd / Devonport exit. At the end of Esmonde Road, turn right into Lake Road (Route 26). Follow the signs down Lake Road to Devonport, and at the very end, turn right at the roundabout into Victoria Road (see below). The Esplanade is at the foot of Victoria Road, opposite the ferry terminal. More detailed map of Devonport:

Pre-arranged personal pick-up Avoid waiting with a pre-arranged personal pick-up, where you will be driven to our door in the comfort of a luxury car. Our driver will meet you in the arrivals hall with your name on a nameboard. The price for this service is NZ$90 including GST, and can be booked when making a reservation. Phone +64 9 445 1291 By Airport Shuttle Airport Shuttles are taxi-vans with luggage trailers, and are located outside the airport terminal. An airport shuttle will bring you to our door for $40 for one person, and $5 for a second person. By taxi A taxi from the airport to Devonport takes 40 minutes, and costs approximately $70. By public transport The Airbus leaves Auckland International Airport every 20 minutes from 6am, and the journey into Auckland city takes 60 minutes. Take the Airbus from the airport terminal to The Sightseeing Centre (opposite the ferry terminal) in downtown Auckland. Cross the road to the ferry building, and take the Devonport ferry which leaves half hourly (see below).
